as we were going back soon, our supervisor, darren, decided to treat us to a dinner
it was kinda sad cause he is a emo-ish person too!
it brought back memories to when we first came over, we dine tgt at ma la steamboat!
how six months pass just like that!
this restaurant served sichuan dishes!

their dining area; it can fit a large crowd too. also, it has vip rooms for you.
shux was totally excited by this; we only have 3 tier cups for VIPs in our restaurant but at hefeng, it is for everyone!the food there:
this is the desert!the filling is red bean and sesame
the wrapping of it is really soft and this is warm
it is really tasty!

the bamboo shoots; i dont eat this kind of thing normally, but it was really sweet and chewy.i dont think we can find this in singapore 24/7

although its quite sinful, but well, its a once in a blue moon thing!
the stewed beefit was filling and the meat was really soft and tender.
really loved it!
cant compare it to the beef noodle shop we often dine in near our hotel.
this noodle is the starter!
it was complimentary from the boss of the restaurant.
it is handmade by the mother in law of the boss
this is really really nice too!
and the boss is also very friendly.
he gave us alot of complimentary food and gave us a pop up paper where darren wrote his words for us!

it is really unique too!
it is also the restaurant's specialty.

we also had a fruit juice that is made specially by the boss of the restaurant.its celery something.
it was really the first time i drink this kind of fruit juice.
but really, it was nice. :D

time really passes very quickly.
we have really learned alot from this 6 months internship
not just the f&b skills but also have a sneak preview of what working life will be like.
alot was taught to us by this supervisor, darren.
he was also from ngee ann poly!
his teaching style is different from alot of supervisors.
he gave you a task, and you might not even know how to do it, he will trust u with it.
but when things goes wrong, he will scold you like nobody's business
there was time when i really really dislike his teaching style.
felt that it was unfair that he scolded me because i was not even taught of it before.
but then, i realised.
that different people have different teaching style.
and through his style, i learned quicker although it was the harder way.
also, his mouth! seriously.
he doesnt give you much face and is very straight forward with his words.
sometimes, i really really really cant stand his mouth.
but, oh wells.
at the end of the day, you will know he doesnt really mean it.
not only did he teach us alot of things, he guide us through our life in taiwan.
there were times of doubt and he will be our guidance.
there were times when we dont understand, he will explain in his way to us
there were times when he keep a look out for us before we hit our head, full impact to the situation.

you had been a good teacher and we will definitely not forget you!
writing all this, i dont think he will ever see. but well, it is a way for me to remember too! :D
